These part specific trays can be can be stacked on top without the part surfaces touching each other and can also be nested when empty, thus saving space. The tray material is usually made from PVC, HIPS, and ABS and is selected based on the part packaging requirement.
In addition to trays, HDPE and PP corrugated partitions can also be used within the crates to secure the parts during handling and transportation.
